The latest flagship development for Raimon Land is The River located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok.

This project comprises two A-Grade residential towers, 40 storeys and 72 storeys with a total gross area of approximately 200,000m2 and more than 800 apartments.  The taller tower is the second tallest building in Thailand. Apartments range from 45m2 Studio to penthouses in excess of 600m2.  Construction was completed in 2012.

EEC Lincolne Scott provided an integrated service to the project, which includes all of the M&E services for the development.  The concept architect is HB Design from Singapore and Steven J Leach Jr & Associates as the implementation architect.

For this project EEC Lincolne Scott assisted Raimon Land in their commitment to making this a ‘green’ development for Bangkok and to deliver a new standard for clients. 

For example, a centralised water cooled system, rather than the typical air-cooled split systems where the condensing units are installed on balconies, was designed for the air conditioning.  The circulating water collects the heat rejected from the air conditioning units and takes it to cooling towers where the heat is rejected.  This system is more efficient and avoids unsightly and noisy condensers on balconies.  It also complies with more stringent environmental guidelines that are steadily being introduced in other countries.
